Radiator Sizing

Radiator sizing can only be correctly established by first calculating the ‘heat loss’ for the particular room in question. This is undertaken by determining the loss of heat through every surface in the room externall walls, Windows, floors, ceilings and internal walls.

It is sensible to add between 5% and 10% extra to the radiator requirements to allow for rapid heat up and temperature variations in the system.
